Dave joined Arlington/Roe in December 2004 as Vice President of Commercial Lines, responsible for the strategy and operations of our commercial binding unit. Dave brings over nineteen years of national carrier experience with CNA, Wausau, USF&G, and Great American where he has served in a number of different underwriting officer roles. He has a B.A. from the University of Dallas and M.B.A from SMU, and holds a Property/Casualty Agent's License.

Karen Stites joined Arlington/Roe in April 2007. Karen attended Western Michigan University majoring in elementary education. She moved to Traverse City in 1974 and began her Insurance career with an independent insurance agency. Karen returned to Kalamazoo in 1977 and began working in surplus lines where she rose in ten years from Underwriting Technician to Vice President. A member of the Certified Insurance Counselor Society, Karen also participates in the Professional Liability Underwriters Society. Married for 33 years, Karen and Rick have two daughters, Courtney and Megan. In Karen’s spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and golf.

Angela Cale began her insurance career when she joined Arlington/Roe in January of 1993, shortly after graduating from Purdue University. She was able to learn all aspects of working in the Commercial Lines department by handling policy processing, rating and customer service duties before moving into Underwriting in 1997. She received her Certificate in General Insurance in 1996 and has attended the NAPSLO E&S School as well as numerous company and industry sponsored educational seminars. Relocating to Arlington/Roe's Illinois office in 2002 has created new opportunities for agency marketing and involvement in the PIIAI, which Angela is enjoying greatly.

Andy began his career at Arlington/Roe in January 2001 in our Workers' Compensation area after graduating from Ball State University. He moved to our Commercial Lines Dept. where he worked until the summer of 2004. Andy then moved to Scottsdale, AZ where he started a year-long internship at Nautilus Insurance, one of Arlington/Roe’s Commercial Lines E&S Carriers. After completing his internship with Nautilus, Andy completed a brief stint in London at Arlington/Roe’s Lloyds of London syndicates, Bell & Clements. After London, Andy returned to A/R where he is currently working as a Commercial Lines Underwriter, assisting agents in Southwest Indiana. Andy is active in Indiana Young Agents and is currently pursuing his CPCU and ASLI designations.

Anne joined Arlington/Roe in October 1977, starting as a mobile home underwriter.. Over the years, she has worked as an underwriter in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and for the last 10+ years, in the Transportation Dept. She recently joined the Commercial Lines Team again. Anne has her Indiana Property/Casualty agent’s license as well as the CIC, AU and CPIW designations.Outside of the office, she is an active member of the National Association of Insurance Women International and twice Past President of the Indianapolis Association of Insurance Women.

In May 2007 Chuck joined Arlington/Roe as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. Working 30 years in the Excess & Surplus Lines business, Chuck’s prior experience includes that of E&S Broker at George F. Brown and Stewart Smith in Chicago and Seattle branch management of an AIG affiliated company underwriting large umbrella and excess liability business. Before joining Arlington/Roe, Chuck spent 7 years working with Indiana agents at the branch office of an MGA. Chuck is a graduate of Bowling Green State University.

Donna joined Arlington/Roe & Co. in December 2001 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. She brings over 19 years of commercial insurance experience from both the Company and the Agency side. Her career began with Commercial Union Ins. Co. She then moved to Monroe Guaranty Ins. Co. as a rater, then rater trainer and eventually entered the first formal underwriter trainee program. She most recently worked as a Commercial Lines Service Agent for McGowan Insurance Group, Inc. Donna holds a Property/Casualty Agent's License, and an INS certificate. Donna's focus is our Eastern Indiana independent agents.

Jennie Eades started at Arlington/Roe in May of 2004 after graduating from Indiana University with high honors. Jennie has spent the last few years at A/R in commercial underwriting, moving from assistant underwriter to underwriter. She is currently a member of the Arlington/Roe SPRINT Team, a team designed to provide quick turnaround on select classes of commercial business. Her first Arlington/Roe positions were in IT as a Business Analyst / IT Trainer and in Marketing. Jennie is an active participant in Indiana Young Agents. She serves as a committee chair for the Communications Committee and has done so for the last two years. She is currently working on the CIC designation. Her personal interests include hiking, Pilates (she’s a certified fitness trainer), spending time with her dogs and working on her home.

Kathy Davis joined Arlington/Roe in January, 2007 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. She brings over 25 years of insurance and underwriting experience to Arlington/Roe's Commercial Lines Division. Her insurance career began with Liberty Mutual in Commercial Lines Sales. Following her start with Liberty Mutual, she then worked in Minnesota and Illinois in various underwriting positions. Prior to joining Arlington/Roe, she spent 6 years with another MGA as a Production Underwriter serving the Commercial E&S needs of Indiana agents. Kathy holds theCertified Insurance Counselor designation and is a licensed Property & Casualty agent. Kathy's focus is Northwest and Southwest Indiana.

Michelle Van Dyke joined Arlington/Roe in January 1993 as a Commercial Lines Property/Casualty Underwriter. Toni joined Arlington/Roe in April 1997 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. She is responsible for helping to establish our Commercial Lines division in our Louisville, KY office, and handles underwriting and rating. Toni brings over fifteen years experience in the insurance industry to Arlington/Roe. Most recently, Toni was an Account Services Coordinator for Wausau Insurance Companies. Prior to that she spent eight years at a large brokerage agency in Louisville as a Commercial Lines Underwriter where she was responsible for underwriting, rating and policy setup for the majority of commercial general liability and professional business placed in a four state area.
